I have a kinda bad headache on the right side of my head kind of up and behind my right ear. what does it mean and how do i get rid of it?

Occipital headaches: Lesser and greater occipital nerves live in the area of your head where you are describing pain. What frustrates patients is that these nerves can cause pain without any traumatic event. You didn't mention any visual disturbances (blurry, double vision) or other red flags so that a NSAID may be beneficial. Your PCP may have Toradol in house to give you for fairly quick reduction in head symptoms.
