Bottle feed: If he is only 40 days old stick with the bottle. When he is about 3-4 months you can try the spoon

Introducing solids : Bottle feed him until four months. The AMerican Acsdemy of Pediatrics recommends formula bottle feeding exclusively till four months. In general between four to six months babies are ready to accept food by mouth. Start with veggies, and see if he leans in to the spoon and opens his mouth to accept! If he "clams up" and refuses, try again in a month! Have fun feeding your baby! Such fun mess!
