What should an appropriate bed time be for a 3.5 month old?

10 hours: The average 3-4 month old should sleep approximately 15 hours per day (10 hours during the night). Schedule an appropriate bedtime that will facilitate this length of time, and also coordinate with your (or caregiver's) schedule. Avoid encouraging long late afternoon naps to help establish a new schedule.

Early evening: Usually around four months of age babies start to get into a predictible pattern of falling asleep in early evening and sleeping through the night. Sometime between 8 and 10 o clock is typical.
