Dystonia: Acute dystonic reactions involving the tongue can be brought on by certain medications. An evaluation of your medication is needed. There are medications used to treat this condition. I recommend a trial of benztropine (cogentin) or diphenhydramine (benadryl) or both. Klonopin (clonazepam) may also help. Need to also make sure your electrolytes are normal with blood test. Consider botulinum toxin if no better.
