Why has a old op scar on my stomach turned red and sore when there is not friction or rubbing?
Scar tissue formed in incision from total hip replacement, June 8, 2022. Has jusst now manifested itself and is very sore and turning red at the site. Can infection form in scar tissue? The skin at the site is much warmer than skin around it?
