A member asked:

Can i go back to light weight lifting(gym) if i have thoracic outlet syndrome? will gym increase symptoms or the cause/source of the symptoms?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possibly: I would seriously consult your Primary Care Physician or the diagnosing doctor before beginning any physical work-out regiment. There are many different types of trainers and exercises out there and you may be exposing yourself to greater pain/delayed recovery if you preform the wrong type.
