Time for a trip...: When there is blood in the pee, regardless of what one is drinking, it's time to take a trip to one's primary care doctor. Blood can be real blood, as in bladder infections, bladder tumors, reactions after strep infections, etc... Occasionally, urine can look bloody (but is not real blood, but is color from muscle breakdown products) after a strenuous athletic event.
