Gastroenterologist : 39 y female w. Fibromyalgia, FM, has "visceral hypersensitivity", which suggests Irritable Bowel Syndrome, IBS, which is commonly associated w. FM. IBS is functional dysautonomic disorder of intestinal tissues & often no pathology found. IMO, IBS & other dysautonomia functions associated w. Fibromyalgia, such as POTS & migraines, result from neural impingements incited by hypermobile joints.
