Yes, there is help.: There are evidenced based psychotherapeutic approaches that can help both panic attacks and feeling that things aren't real (derealization). Medication can help as well. You best bet would be to consult a mental health specialist about exactly what you are dealing with.

Panic Attack: I understand your concern and feeling of derealization. At age 16, stressors of relationship with parents, siblings, friends, and school can contribute to Anxiety symptoms and Panic attack. Alcohol and Drug use can make these symptoms worse. Trust your body to cope with derealization as symptoms do not continue, nor they remain intense. Please see a Psychiatrist for diagnosis and treatment

STRESS DEBRIEFING : My first suggestion is to buy the anxiety and phobia workbook. It goes over all strategies diet/Meds/Supplements/talk therapy. Also you need a full exam and lab work to rule out other underliing issues. Then a therapist for talk therapy and discuss with your doctor medication therapy. TWo helpful techniques are EFT(TAPPING) and EMDR.(eye movement desensitization and reprocessing)
