YES.: The contraceptive effect of depo lasts from 12-16 weeks and rapidly wears off after that. Often there is a delay of a month or so before regular cycles resume. Keep in mind also that, if you're sexually active, one reason you haven't had your period could be that you're already preggo! Do a pregnancy test. If it's negative,just give it another few weeks & your cycles will go back to normal.

It is quite common: It is quite common as it can take months for some women to have their periods to return after stopping Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone).You can not get pregnant till you start having your periods
