A member asked:

What causes a person to have to vomit a lot of mucus?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Allergies and GERD: The two most common causes is allergic rhinitis (seasonal allergies) and acid reflux (GERD). If you have runny nose and congestion, it's likely allergies. If you have heartburn and upset stomach it's likely GERD. Both of these conditions can be related to diet. Consider doing a 4 week elimination diet off dairy and gluten.
