Depends on mug size: Using mugs no bigger than 12 ounces, and buying only skim milk (to avoid eating too much animal fat), should make it ok to drink 3 mugs a day. If one's weight gain is too high, or if one must control her diet due to high blood sugars, then one has to discuss her entire diet (milk and all) with her doctor or nutritionist.
