Possibly: Unexpected hair thinning is typically stress related and so the stimulant effect of this med could possibly cause hair thinning but it is not a known common side effect of this medicine.

Yes: Hair thinning or alopecia is a potential side effect of Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine). It is not very common, but it can happen. In one study of 5652 Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) users, 69 of them had hair loss. That is 1.23 percent. See eHealthMe.com
