Yes: Unfortunately yes, this can be normal. BUT, good news is that it will go away. If you can stick it out a few more days it will get better! If you feel it is intolerable or of course if you feel like harming yourself or are too anxious, seek MD help right away. However, it will go away.

Side effects: Talk to your doctor about the side effect profile of sertraline and you shall see that these symptoms are very common among users. You may acclimate to them over time or you may require a change to another agent. When you say that you've been "drinking" I hope you're not referring to alcohol because then, you're talking about different problems when taking prescription medications.
