Suggestion: Saline rinses, hydration, lemon tea with honey, sudafed, afrin 3 days on 3 days off, sleep with head elevated 30 deg, tylenol, (acetaminophen) advil, vitamin c, echinacea, zinc lozenges. Some think caffeine and milk thicken mucous and are to be avoided. If symptoms escalate over 7-10 days or continue > 3-4 weeks then may need antibiotics.
