Weakness: is TREATABLE...speak with your surgeon! Find a Spine Unit with a "boot camp" type Rehabilitation Program!! Its "tough:" but DO NOT GIVE UP! Good Luck Dr Z

Hard to predict: Some healing and reversal is to be expected over several months, but usual surgical intervention prevents FURTHER harm to spinal cord, and does not fully turn clock back.
