Transcutaneous pace: Cardioversion is the process of converting an abnormal cardiac rhythm to normal. It encompasses any means of doing that. Transcutaneous pacing is an electrical procedure to deliver a stimulus to the heart to make its rhythm follow the stimulus, the stimulus is delivered in this case thruogh the skin.
