Blood clot vs bliste: A blood blister is a sac of blood, other fluids & / or lymph. It occurs when blood vessels are damaged in subdermal tissues without breaking the overlying skin. A blood clot ( thrombus) occurs when blood coagulates & may be found in many areas.
