Try another drug?: The usual treatments for vaginal yeast infections are drugs with names ending in "azole" (miconazole, clotrimazole, fluconazole, etc). However, some yeast strains are resitant to these drugs. Ask your doctor or clinic whether they want to reexamine you to recheck the diagnosis, and ask about alternative treatments, such as nystatin, flucytosine, or caspofungin.
