Several possible: under the left rib cage, could be a hernia, a rib cyst, a fatty tumor aka lipoma, a traumatic hematoma, or seroma. Absent fever or significant pain, you can watch it for a week or 2. If it gets bigger, go in to see your doc. If it goes away, no worries. Be well.
