Side effect: Alcohol consumption causes the blood vessels in the skin to dilate resulting in flushing. This can also make you feel warm although the increased blood flow to the skin causes you to loose body heat at an accelerated rate and can result in hypothermia. You don't necessarily have to stop drinking all to gather but be safe and drink only in moderation.
