R/O THRUSH: Thrush an oral yeast infection can be caused by both steroids and antibiotics. You need to be examined and cultured. Normally empiric antifungal therapy is started ie mycelex troche Or diflucan (fluconazole) . Make sure to see your doctor for follow up exam labs and stool testing for Hpylori and potential endoscopy

Yeast infection: also called oral thrush. Zithromax (z-pack) allows yeast to grow and the above symptoms to occur. It is not usually serious and can generally be cleared with treatment like miconazole or Nystatin.
