Why do i see blue veins on my chest and arms?

Veins Appear Blue: This is normal. At least without seeing your skin. But, veins cary blue blood...Or blood that is no longer carrying oxygen. Blood returns to the heart to be pumped back through the lungs to pick up oxygen. Blue is the norm for veins.

Blue veins: I agree with dr. Killian the blue appearance of your veins is probably entirely normal. It isn't the color of the blood that makes them blue (all blood is red all the time), it is the location of the vein in relation to your skin that make them blue. Veins that are closer to the surface of the skin are redder. Veins that are just below the surface of the skin are bluer.
