Most likely: The first menses after a completed miscarriage can be heavier and longer than normal periods. Having an ultrasound which confirmed no retained products along with a negative pregnancy test is sufficient to confirm completed abortion. If you are soaking more than 1 pad per hour over several hours, have fever > 101, or severe fatigue, call your doctor or go to ER.
