Not cancer: Tumors of the finger/thumb region can be malignant but if it is to be cut when it grows again it must be benign and not of osseous structure. Lesions as such in this region can be fibromas, ganglion cysts,giant cell tumors of tendon and epidermal inclusion cyst. If lesion is to be re resected, pathology report should be reviewed as to why lesion recurring.
