LAM quite effective: Lactational Amenorrhea Method (LAM) for preventing pregnancy is usually quite effective in the first 6 months (or longer). A home pregnancy test could be helpful to reduce anxiety.

It really varies: Congrats on your delivery! Ovulation returns after delivery at various times, although breastfeeding does reduce the chance of ovulation if FULLY breastfeeding. Having some ppVag Bleed is not that unusal at 2 months. You CAN have sex if you feel ok, but you still need other forms of birth control. Condoms at least. Some BC pills can be safely used during breastfeeding. Take home preg test.

Many causes for food: cravings, and one may be that you need more calories since you are breast feeding. Only a pregnancy test will fully answer your question, but if you are not ready for another pregnancy, please use birth control.
