Common/expected: Nexplanon can make you have very irregular bleeding/spotting. Its one of the most common side-effects. About 10% of women have the device removed due to irregular bleeding. The good news is that this usually gets better with time. If you hang in there for 6 months to a year, you may have no bleeding at all. Best wishes!
