Need eye exam: Your iris is covered by a clear dome called the cornea. I can't imagine a situation where a piece of paper is able to cut through the cornea and then cut the iris. But if you injured your eye in any way, it is prudent to get an eye exam immediately. See an optometrist or ophthalmologist. Good luck.
