FindANewBoyfriend: Yes.Harmful to your relationship.That cheap SOB sold you a bill of goods!Well,hopefully not.You didn't say what kind of ring it is.The probable culprit, copper, is added in small amounts to gold and silver(Sterling,by the way; didn't know I was a copper,huh?)So if it's made or coated with them, voila!Green in some people.So think steel,platinum & white gold-or-coat your ring with clear nail polish
