A member asked:

Doctors started counting my pregnancy from aug 3rd 2014 (40 wks) is there anyway that the sex that led up to getting pregnant happened on may31st 2014?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Doctors usually start counting your pregnancy from the first day of your last menstrual period. If you can't remember when that was, your doc will calculate it based on ultrasound findings. So if your pregnancy is dated from August 3rd, you became pregnant sometime in mid-August. There is no way you became pregnant from sex in May. Best wishes!
