Likely not a problem: A normal person (not overweight or obese) SHOULD be able to touch their ankles and knees together. Perhaps you've just fallen into the trap of thinking you were abnormal when everyone around you is larger than what they should be to be healthy. If it seems more serious than what I'm saying, an Orthopedic Surgeon might be consulted for an opinion on how significant it is in your case.
