Probably yes: It sounds like this is your initial genital herpes infection, not a recurrent oubreak -- right? And you're only a couple days into treatment. Is that also correct? If so, your poor appetite and nausea probably are indeed due to the herpes, and they should improve as the herpes sores start to clear up. Keep taking the medicine and check with your doctor.
