Could be: Only way to know for sure is to check a pregnancy test. It could be pregnancy, but it could also be spotting from a cycle you didn't ovulate

Could be: The short three day period that you experienced instead of your normal period could have been implantation bleeding. I suggest doing a home pregnancy test.
