This maybe serious.: it is possible that this maybe acute viral infection of some sort. But unintentional weight loss may have a broad differential from malignancy, anemia, hyperthyroidism (this can be temporary), infection, and etc. I would go seek a help. Take care.

How much weight should I be gaining every week?

1/2-1 pound: For patients who start off at their ideal weight, we recommend 4 lbs in the first trimester, then 1/2-1 lb per week thereafter, for a total of about 25-32 lbs. The weight gain is different for twins, or for patients who are overweight or have medical conditions like hypertension or diabetes.

Not necessarily: Most women are nauseated in the first trimester. If you have lost more than 10% of your pre-pregnancy weight or are severely dehydrated you may need to be hospitalized for IV fluids and nausea medications. Losing 1 stone (14 lbs) is ok if you weighed 140 lbs or more at the start of your pregnancy as long as you can keep some fluids down.

How can I manage peoples' constant comments about my weight?

Forgive them: Forgive the stupidity of people and assume they are somehow trying to help you maybe by their comments. Being overweight can be troublesome as you get older from a medical standpoint, leading to increased heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, asthma, sleep apnea, etc. Etc. So slowly take their stupid comments and let it help build up a want inside you to try and lose weight. Ask dr. For advice too.
A 21-year-old member asked:

Can I take anything to help with the weight problem?

Weight loss: Eat less, eat balanced: but more importantly, begin to exercise as this is the key to long-term success. Not only do you burn calories when you exercise, you increase muscle mass (which further increases calorie consumption), and keep your heart healthy. Consult your clinician before beginning an exercise program.

Sauna: Regular use of the sauna has many beneficial effects however it does not help directly in long term weight reduction without specific diets and exercise.
