How long can recurrent genital herpes sores last max? not sure of status but have isolated red bumps on thighs with hairs attached for week or two.

Not herpes: Recurrent herpes usually lasts 7-10 days and probably always heals within 2 weeks. Butr regardlesss of how long they last, genital herpes is not a likely cause of "isolated red bumps on thighs", and for sure isn't the cause of such problems associated with hairs. No worries about herpes.
