Continuous Nuvaring: This was a normal thing when you use birth control on a continuous basis. The top layer of the endometrium may grow a little but then eventually outgrows the blood supply and sloughs off. This is why we recommend you have a break once a year and have a period. Not to worry unless you get lots of bleeding.
