Gallstones? : You may be having gallstone disease. Has that possibility been checked with imaging studies?

Possibilities: If you are referring to pain within the abdomen, upper right abdominal pain sources include the liver and gallbladder, a portion of the large bowel and in the right flank is the kidney; in the right lower abdomen is the appendix and, lower down, is the pelvis which contains the ovaries and the common area for a hernia. Other sources include the small intestine and diverticular colon disease.
