Chronic Sinusitis: The proper treatment depends on the etiology of your symptoms such as allergies or local irritants. Clarinase may be effective for a short period of time but can actually make your sinus problems worse in the long run. Some patients experience relief with intranasal saline, corticosteroids, ipratroprium and humidified air.
