A member asked:

Are papules normal anatomy of the soft palate? i see a bunch of dots on the soft palate, above uvula and only appears if i touch palate with finger.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

MoneyWhereYrMouthIs: Ahh,so! Very perceptive, grasshopper!!You may be describing what are called "petichiae,"which are small dots that don't blanch with pressure and may indicate inflammation, infection, local minor trauma(what you been puttin' in there, hmmm?),a blood problem OR nothing. So ask yourself if anything is wrong or if you feel OK.If OK,wait and see if they go away or get worse. If you feel funky, see a doc
