Maybe: Vicks is a brand that has many different OTC products that include their NyQuil, DayQuil, QlearQuil, and the popular VapoRub. I am assuming you mean the VapoRub product which works primarily through medicated vapors. I feel that use in a shower would reduce how effective the product is but I am sure that you could apply it to the chest and throat or muscles and joints 10-20 minutes before shower.
