Basically yes: When taking birth control pills one expects to have a menstrual cycle triggered by switching to the placebo pills. Exactly which day it will start and stop though is going to vary from person to person and from month to month. Consider changing to a nondaily option like a Skyla IUD, Mirena (levonorgestrel) IUD or Nexplanon. These are great methods for young women.
