Post concussive: Headache, mild nausea, some dizziness and generalized aches and pains are common after a concussion. Rest and reducing activity along with over the counter anti-inflammatory medicines like ADVIL or ALEVE (naproxen) are the best treatment. It may take a few more weeks to see them resolve. If they don't get better see your doctor.

Crush injury: You may have experienced a small laceration or a crush injury to the scalp. When this happens, a nerve in the scalp may have been damaged and when it tried to return to its previous location, could not get through the area of crush. It may have formed a small neuroma. This can be treated. See a pain specialist or neurologist.
