Find A Good Dentist: It would help to know exactly what part of your jaw, but as an initial stab at it, you might have what's called "temperomandibular joint(TMJ)syndrome,"which is inflammation of the joint that connects your jaw to your skull(it's right next to your ear). It can get pretty bad and is usually caused by teeth grinding in your sleep and, yes, you can get it on just one side. At this point, see a dentist
