Most likely : Tough question ! There are many variations on normal when it comes to the male equipment. If the flaccid size of your son is 5.5 in long, there is nothing to worry about w.r.t. size, that is perfectly adequate. If the dark area concerns you, the doc to see is your local Urologist.
