Yes: It really depends on what test was ordered. However, most urine drug tests use mass spectrometry - so they can determine the different chemicals present in the urine. And yes, usually pain management clinics want to determine if you're taking the medication as prescribed - so they monitor drug concentration levels. Hope that helps!
