Trying to conceive: If you are pregnant, and with the very light period it's possible, the heavy bleeding raises concerns about a possible miscarriage in which case a pregnancy test could still be positive or the HCG could have dropped enough for it to be negative. The heavy bleeding is concerning and suggests you need to be seen by your PCP, gynecologist, or an urgent care clinic. Hope this helps some .
