I've had asthma from as long as i can remember, i'm 16 now and it seems to be fading away slowly, will it ever be fully gone?

Yes: Very likely, your lung specialist will be able to fix it completely. Ask about so2 monitor clip and electronic peak flow meter. Check with your lung doc!

Asthma: I rarely think of asthma as gone because some people have been known to enter a phase where they are asymptomatic and later sometimes after many years again become symptomatic. Even if you are asymptomatic, i recommend keeping a full and up to date rescue inhaler readily available.

Not so fast!: It is definitely worthwhile to have spirometry to assess one's lung function. There are many asthmatics that feel as if they have outgrown their asthma by adulthood, when in fact lung function testing reveals evidence of current/persisitent inflammation.
