Not normal: No period for 4 months is not normal unless you are just starting to have periods, pregnant, or approaching menopause. This can be due to anovulation, thyroid disease, insulin resistance/diabetes, PCOS, adrenal disease, a pituitary tumor, stress, weight loss, diet, exercise, or some medications. You need to see your PCP or gynecologist for a full history, exam, and testing. Hope this helps.
