LGERD: Sometimes this symptom can be caused by laryngopharyngeal reflux of stomach acid (if so, usually the damage occurs when you're sleeping because you don't have gravity working for you). If you have any difficulty breathing - head to the ER. Hope that helps & that you feel better soon!
