Sippy cup: He is old enough to go right to a cup. There are so many new-fangled, non-spill ones now that you don't even have to worry about spills and drips. Work with him together, you controlling the tipping of the cup until he gets the hang of the flow rate of drinking from a cup, and by then, he should be able to get it by himself. What a big boy!
